Underscoring the weakness of this president, this morning he[attacked AT&T](https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1135499002626154496) suggesting a boycott in order to affect the negative news coverage coming from CNN, which is owned by AT&T. You know, a normal non dictatory thing to do: “I believe that if people stoped [sic] using or subscribing to @ATT, they would be forced to make big changes at @CNN, which is dying in the ratings anyway. It is so unfair with such bad, Fake News! Why wouldn’t they act. When the World watches @CNN, it gets a false picture of USA. Sad!” AT&T just ignored him, and finished the trading day up nearly 2% indicating that nobody takes the president seriously. ---

He’s turned Teddy Roosevelt’s “bully pulpit” into a loon standing on a soapbox and ranting. (The President using his office to attack a private corporate enemy is unseemly, horrifying, ghastly and unprecedented, of course. But is it violating any particular law? Or just “abuse of power”, thrown on to the heap of other impeachable offenses?) ---

Which is a change from other incidents we’ve heard about, and probably some we haven’t heard about, from Trump’s first two years. He’s been influencing stock prices since he was elected. When I first heard, I was pleased at the thought that Trump’s ability to do this kind of harm may be waning. But nothing is calculated to make him more furious than an end to his ability to manipulate stock prices. (Well, nothing besides women of color expressing a lack of respect for him, anyway.) At any rate, he has been profiting from this ability for months. If he can’t do it any more, he’s going to slide even deeper into derangement. Seriously, I hope someone who does NOT crave the coming of the End Days is keeping an eye on him. ---

Bette Midler is the [latest to feel](https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1136067842879709184) the Wrath of Trump. I’ve been searching to try and find out what’s got Trump’s goat, but I’m not sure what it is yet. By trying to find out, I am kind of, but not quite, recreating the Streisand Effect, so maybe it should be the Midler Effect. Looks like he got his feelers all hurt ☹ **If the totally Corrupt Media was less corrupt, I would be up by 15 points in the polls based on our tremendous success with the economy, maybe Best Ever! If the Corrupt Media was actually fair, I would be up by 25 points. Nevertheless, despite the Fake News, we’re doing great!** **I kept hearing that there would be “massive” rallies against me in the UK, but it was quite the opposite. The big crowds, which the Corrupt Media hates to show, were those that gathered in support of the USA and me. They were big & enthusiastic as opposed to the organized flops!** Are they saying boo?
