I seem to recall a torrent of imaginative invectives hurled at Trump by the locals when he visited Scotland right after Brexit (where he congratulated them even though Scotland voted overwhelmingly against it) – I’m pretty sure “loofah faced, shit-gibbon” was one of them. The only thing I found was a reference to a “shit-flinging gibbon” being elected from a British site and a message board thread celebrating that “shit-gibbon,” a beloved Scottish insult, had shown up in America. ---

Daylin Leach is my state senator. I follow him on FB. His is very smart, very funny, very progressive, and he pulls no punches. I’ve had the sense for a while that he’s aiming for something bigger than state government. I think this is a deliberate step in that direction. People are talking about him all over the net now including many who never heard of him before.
