The ‘tell the worker bees to rise up against the middle level of government’ idea is essentially a Chairman Mao move, isn’t it? A cheap way of punishing functionaries who you’re displeased with. The Communist party version of this was somewhat weirder, I believe, because the same officials who’d be whipping up the peasantry to ‘denounce Comerade Chang’ would be the same officials who could have just removed Comerade Chang from his position, if they wanted to. Whereas Trump’s only going for ‘denounce Comerade Newsome’ because he CANT actually sack him. Still dysfunctional AF though ---

Several years ago, I had a manager who was routinely outsmarted by cheese. One day, he sent out a memo about provisioning DS1s and DS3s. He accidentally mis-typed “DS1s and DS2s.” No big deal. We all had a little chuckle about it, until he spent the afternoon going from desk to desk with a copy of Newton’s Telecom Dictionary _proving_ to us that DS2s were actually a thing. Remember: being wrong about \*anything \*is a sign of weakness.
