While the angry mob demonstrated outside the White House, Cadet Dotus cowered in his bunker sending nasty little tweets while ignoring his staff’s pleas to address the nation. Does anyone else think that this seems eerily like a Nero and Rome scenario? It also seems horrifyingly clear that he wants to see bloodshed on the streets, courtesy of the military. ---

And he did this by manfully ordering his Praetorian guard to shoot rubber bullets and tear gas into a peaceful crowd so that he could stride forth safe from signs with mean words, to wave a borrowed bible about his head for 10 seconds in front of a church he has never been to, whose Bishop did not want him near. Then he manfully strode back to the White House bunker where he cried himself to sleep again. ---

Well, I like that bishop: the presence of priests like her are the main reason I’d be perfectly happy to include Episcopalian parishes in my list of “places I go to Mass” if I were living in the US… from the point of view of people who think anybody not of their tiny church is Not A Christian, endorsement by a Catholic is merely proof of Budde’s collusion with the Devil. ---

It won’t stop him from taking credit for ending the violence with his “I’ll just make the army shoot 'em all” bullshit and that stunt he pulled outside the church. The one that used violence to move peaceful protesters out of the way for his photo op. ---
