Your bolding is very much justified. Trump might have taken the “notices” on his tweets as a kind of badge of honor–but keeping him from getting likes and retweets is hitting him where he lives. Sure, it’s not all his tweets–just the ones where he blatantly breaks Twitter policies. But it will still bother him. I would bet ONE MILLION DOLLARS that Trump has been asking his minions to find a way to shut down Twitter entirely. Or at least to accomplish some personal harassment of CEO Jack Dorsey. ---

This is reminiscent of LBJ’s charge that his opponent engaged in bestiality: I don’t know if it’s true or not – I just want to hear him deny it. We have no idea if Trump can ride a bicycle or not - I just want to see him prove it. ---
