I didn’t have anything in mind as to the how of it. I didn’t say he would \*\*do \*\*it, but that he would \*\*try \*\*to do it. He probably thinks that since he picked Gorsuch (i.e., “hired” him), he can also fire him. BTW, thanks for all those great responses. Be aware that Wal-Mart puts its Christmas stuff out right after Halloween, so get busy. It would be amusing to come up with a list of the ways he might try. Euphohnius Polemic’s is my fave so far: “By whining and crying ‘no faaair!’ and pressing his tiny little orange fingers against his twitter device.” ---

This will actually work out well for him, with his loyalists. Comey will say that Trump was under investigation, Trump will tweet “Comey just said I wasn’t under investigation.” Comey will say that he was asked to drop the investigation, that he refused, and that he was fired. Trump will tweet “Comey just said I didn’t pressure him.” This is how he works, what he does. The people who voted for him will not be exposed to the actual testimony, because their news sources won’t show it. They will just get the tweets. ---
