So he has another dinner and asks everyone to leave the room besides Rosenstein and happens to mention that he hopes that Rosenstein will rein in Muller. When Rosenstein resists, Trump fires him the next day, with the claim that Rosenstein was actually the one who was obstructing justice because he was the one who recommended firing Comey. By getting rid of Rosenstein he is really upholding justice. But that isn’t enough, to really ferret out the bad Hombre justice obstructors he needs to fire everyone associated with Rosenstein, such as say Mueller who was hired by a justice obstructor. And so Rosenstein must be replaced by someone who will fire Mueller. Finally now that all the Justice obstructors have been fired there is no reason to continue the investigation, and he can go back to playing golf. - admittedly this is all without evidence and probably won’t happen, but I’m putting it out so that in the unlikely event I turn out to be right at a later date, I can point to it here so you can marvel at my political accumin ---
