I’m a bit embarrassed about typing in this question, but I’m curious…how did the act of licking a persons poop-chute get to be called “tossing one’s salad?” Like, what is the CONNECTION here!!! And then there is something called “feltching?” (sp?) That involves a straw and an orifice, yes? What the heck are the etymologies here!!! Could someone please enlighten me (Satan)? The term “toss my salad” comes from a HBO special about prisons that was aired 5-6 years ago. A prisoner describes how jelly or surup can be used, and how it’s not sex. The term was also used by Chris Rock in his stand up, and referenced the same show. As for fletching, enough has been written on this message board. Although, I’m not sure of the exact etymology. ---

Actually, I have run acrosss and earlier use of “tossed salad”, in a book titled “P.S\> your cat is dead”… forget the author’s name, but I distinctly remember laughing my ass off at the book. ---
