I’m going to toss out the [Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet](http://m.leasetrader.com/images/photos/actual261335/640x480/2014-Nissan-Murano-CrossCabriolet-Gray.jpeg). It’s a truncated teardrop shape, aka [Kammback](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kammback). The moderate slope creates a converging air flow, and the air keeps moving as if there were a solid tail. It’s more streamlined than a conventional sedan or a more sharply tapered back end. Which is why cars optimized for fuel efficiency (Toyota Prius, Honda Insight, etc) have the same design. ---

Two manufacturers that spring to mind are SsangYong, who made a succession of odd-looking vehicles like the [Rodius](http://bestcarmag.com/sites/default/files/1032700SsangYong_Rodius_270_Xdi_front_20100719.jpg), [Musso](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/07/SsangYong_Musso.JPG), and [Korando](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/78/SsangYong_Korando_front_20080711.jpg), and Skoda, whose [Fabia](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/b5/Skoda_Fabia_Combi_1.6_TDI_Ambiente_(II,_Facelift)_%E2%80%93_Frontansicht,_20._Februar_2011,_W%C3%BClfrath.jpg) is the frumpiest thing on wheels, while the [Roomster](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/cb/Skoda_Roomster_front_20091212.jpg) just looks like a miniature hearse. ---
