It’s a Frigidaire from back when that meant something. It’s built like a tank. Actually, tanks should be built this good. The squirrel-cage fan has replaceable bearings with oilers. Every year I put in a couple of drops of oil and it’s good to go. My refrigerator is probably 20 years old. Again, built at a time when they were made to last. It’s strange, cars seem to be built better and last longer but newer washers, dryers and refrigerators seem to be just the opposite. ---

Around here the electric company will buy your old fridge from you. They don’t play much (I think it’s 30 or 40 dollars) but better than nothing and you don’t have to worry about figuring out how to get it carted away. Not that that’s an issue here either, but some places it is. But basically, if you don’t have use for a 2nd fridge, check with your power company and see if they have such a program. ---
