I think that topic deserves a thread of its own.
My husband is a 10 1/2 no matter the store or the brand, and has been in the forty years we have been married. I, however, am different sizes in the same shoe, different color. So yes, I buy for him, but no one buys for me.
We live in a small town so I can drive three hours to Chicago if I want a real selection. I look at Zappo’s and other online shoe retailers with all of those choices and try to imagine what it would be like to be able to buy shoes with all of those to choose from.
