At The Dope, you can find Your People. Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy, don’t it? Or is that warm and fuzzy stuff actually in your mouth?

Obviously because you were afraid he’d have you arrested. Duh. That would have been my thinking anyway.

I love this place, too.

I use plain old Crest. I grew up with it, so that’s what I switched back to. My wife uses all sorts of different toothpaste concoctions; and I got tired of. We each have our own toothpaste now.
I also started using the tube as an indicator to change my toothbrush. They’re cheap when you buy a 10 pack; so opening up a new tube of toothpaste = breaking out a new toothbrush.

I use Tom’s of Maine. My wife has an allergy to something in many “regular” toothpastes (Triclosan), so we just go with that.

I get what’s on sale so I mix it up a bit; don’t get too bored with any one flavor that way.

I like cinnamon, & it’s inexpensive; however, it’s red. Everytime I start a tube I think I’m bleeding, badly, when I spit into the sink. :smack:

Do you recommend Trident or are you the 5th dentist?

I like the natural stuff. Whenever Tom’s of Maine is on sale, I buy a bunch.

Do you use crest complete cinnamon? That stuff is pretty nice.

A friend of a friend’s uncle’s cousin’s dog once informed me that Crest yellows your teeth. Since the dog had nice white fangs I considered this solid authority, and I’ve been on Colgate ever since. 😉 And really, the only thing I pay attention to is that it’s Colgate gel – I don’t much care about the details so what I get varies. I don’t even remember any more what it is that I don’t like about paste. And I use a Braun circular rotating electric brush, if you must know.

As for mouthwash, I’ve read all about the wonders of modern alcohol-free mouthwashes. No thanks. IMHO, if it doesn’t have alcohol in it, it doesn’t work. I buy the cheap store-brand light mint mouthwash loaded with alcohol and it works great.

Now you know. 🙂

I don’t like mint toothpaste. My supply of orange/citrus toothpaste will last for a while longer…

Why does the above post have a nearly-hidden (can you spot it?), and mis-spelled, link to a web page about do-it-yourself shower curtains?

Weird. You can see the link, which is hidden in the period, when you hit “reply with quote” (I changed the square brackets to curly ones to make it visible):

{QUOTE=locas2019;21864851}Generally, different toothpastes are used{URL=“[http://www.diy-showercurtins.com](http://www.diy-showercurtins.com)”}.{/URL} I think that the same kind of bacteria is used all the time. As noted, “curtins” is spelled wrong.

Even weirder: The original post with that clandestine link has totally disappeared from this thread. Cornfielded?
