I went to Slovakia last month. My friends there all drink this vile concoction known as “Cofola” or something like that. Tastes like what you’d get if you could squeeze juice out of a tree branch. ---

Coca-cola has an exhibit/gift shop at EPCOT where you can sample Coke as made for other countries. Mexico (more of a ginger ale) and China (mmmmm - watermelon Coke) are pretty good, but the Italian (“Beverly”) is absolutely vile, more of someone’s idea of a practical joke. Ugh. ---

I did a little research. . . The NASTY flavors of Shasta that taste like ass crack sweat are Horchata, Tamarindo, and Manzana. ---

I used to drink Mountain Dew all the time. I was disappointed the first time I had Code Red. It tastes like cough syrup and it numbs my tongue like that spray you use on your throat when it’s sore. However, I have discovered that if you add some vodka it tastes a lot like a cherry vodka sour. It’s really convenient for parties or any place where you have to bring your own drinks. 🙂 ---

I love the code red. It is tasty! but by far the most vile substance on the face of this earth is Orbitz. I’m not big on drinking anything with stuff floating in it!! Oh & diane a bit of advice… Avoid anything with the word tamarind in the name (Tamarindo) It has been proven to be unsafe for human consumption… YICK! 😃 ---

Eh. I don’t drink Mountain Dew-like products for the flavor. I drink 'em to substitute for sleep. I _really_ hate Fresca and Diet Coke though. YUCK. It’s bottled ass. ---

I have to chime in with those who like Code Red. It reminds me of Sonic’s cherry limeades. However, since I usually buy bottles of soda while making long drives, I don’t think I’ll be doing my part to keep Code Red in production. Loads of caffeine and heavy traffic just don’t mix. ---

I tasted Mountain Dew once. I thought it tasted like pencil lead. Alas I will probably never get to taste this mysterious Code Red as we do not have these exciting innovative fizzy drinks in England. At the moment I can report that I am drinking Somerfield own brand Strawberryade and yes it tastes horrible! Also Jucee clear sparkling peach and that blows goats also! We have all the worst tasting sodie pops in England! ---

Mountain Dew? Hmm, that would be the drink launched in the UK about 6 years ago to a great fanfare, and then promptly disappeared off the shelves a couple of months later? Drank some of it when it came out, since I was working in an off licence at the time and got the stuff with a healthy discount. That’s about the only reason why I drank it, cheapness and considering the fact that it is a liquid, which is generally recognised to help quench a thirst. ---

speaking of drinks that taste like ass, did anyone ever try that “OK” soda when it came out a few years ago? it created quite a stir because of its original and strange advertising, but promptly fell off the face of the earth when everyone found out it tasted like crap. ---

Mountain Dew was at the X-Games in Philly. They were giving out samples of Original and Code Red. I like original better. They also had slurpees made with both typese of Dew. Code Red made a good slurpee. ---
