Not to mention “Rhinestone Cowboy.” He also played with the Beach Boys for a brief little bit. I saw video of Campbell in jail - he looked to be in pretty good shape and was in a very jolly mood. ---

I found it amusing that this happened on the day I was serving jury duty in downtown Phoenix, for a case that happened about a year and a half ago. Which means that I’ll be eligible again just in time for this to go to trial… “We, the jury, find you guilty of the charge of driving under the influence, and recommend a sentence of 1 year in prison. We also find you guilty of inflicting ‘Rhinestone Cowboy’ on innocent people, and recommend a sentence of 30 years in prison.”
