Good luck. It sounds like a good leaving, not a bad one.

If you feel like coming back someday, you may feel somewhat embarrassed to do so, after having started a “goodbye thread.” Don’t worry about it; I started a “goodbye thread” in 2004, was gone for six months, then came back when life had calmed down a bit. I was worried that there would be snarky I-thought-you-left comments, but only one person even seemed to have noticed I’d been gone, and that person gave me a big “welcome back” post.

Good crowd around here.
