The perpetrator is apparently a veteran with mental health concerns. Thankfully, people stopped her before it progressed to a point of no return.

Good job! They saved a important historiic site.

I had to laugh at a Hazmat team being called for a can of spilled gas. Geez, a water hose with a mist sprayer will flush it off the house. Haven’t these whippersnappers ever scrubbed tree mold off siding? 😉 ☀

I’ve added visting the house for a tour onto my bucket list. It would be interesting. Maybe visit the Martin Luther Kings church if it’s open for tours.
