Sabathia was fat, end of story. His size wasn’t steroids, it was Snickers. etv78, have you ever seen a PICTURE of CC Sabathia? A box of cereal a day is an astonishing amount of food. A small box of sweetened cereal served with milk is 2000 to 2500 calories, easy - as many calories as a normal human should eat in a day. Cut out that much and you’ll lose a LOT of weight. I lost 20 pounds in ten weeks largely by just not drinking sugared drinks anymore - and I wasn’t as tall or as big as CC Sabathia. You can have a dramatic effect on your weight with straighforward dietary changes. ---

I lost 15 pounds in 2 weeks just by having hernia surgery 😃 And have since gained it all back _grumble_ ---

I wonder why it’s so hard for people to say something as simple as: “Hmmm, I guess my opinion was somewhat ill-informed. Thanks for the info, everybody.” Obviously the answer is “pride,” but that’s still ridiculous, because saying something like that, especially when you’re so clearly incorrect, can only improve your reputation. ---
