Well… I guess the answer to whether there’s a history with this poster I was unaware of is “yes.” I hope you’ll understand when I say that I decline to research further. 🙂 And I honestly interpreted “buying food for my birthday” in the same context as someone might say that someone else “bought the cake for my birthday.” I don’t know anything about the OP’s living arrangements, so why isn’t this a reasonable interpretation? _shrug_ ---

As someone who consumes vegan cheese, I can tell you there are very few manufacturers of completely non dairy cheese. If someone were to dangle a piece of cheese in front of me and tell me its vegan, you can be damn sure I’m going to ask what brand it is. If it’s not one I know of, you can be damn sure I’ll ask to see the package so I can read the label. Why the OP seems unaware of this, and is willing to jam “cheese” into his craw on someone’s word, is why it’s difficult to take him seriously. ---

Between this thread and the thread in ATMB I get the impression that BIGt might actually be garnering some sympathy around here, the usual crew have been a little too boring in their snarking. All BigT has to do is stay quiet for a while, take the high ground and don’t give everybody a reason to roll their eyes at him yet again.
