While the world has yet to provide us with either caffeinated bacon or baconated coffee, the folks at Golden Flake have introduced [caffeinated potato chips.](http://www.nrgsnax.com/main.html) Having just forced myself to finish a small bag of the Phoenix Fury chips I can say that I _vastly_ prefer getting my fix via traditional caffeine delivery methods. The chips were coated in chili powder, which would not necessarily be a bad thing, however, one did not get as much the taste of chili as they did of paprika. Paprika’s fine, but this was like eating it by the spoonful, while chasing it with a bit of chili, and a couple of flakes of instant potatoes. Not exactly what I would call “tasty” by any stretch of the imagination. It certainly hasn’t inspired me to try the Overload flavor chips. ---

Sheesh. WHY must they mess with our food? its tampering I tell ya! When I was a young whippersnapper, they had regular and bar be que chips! And pepsi and coke. They didn’t need flavors back then. Are we that easily bored? :smack:
