I had a dream this morn about it. What is your favorite cake and ice cream (assuming its your birthday)? Chocolate cake for me, with cream cheese icing and vanilla ice cream. ---

Chocolate cake with white icing. Lots of white icing. As much as cake, and I’ll eat all the icing left on the box, plates, etc. Any flavor of Ben&Jerry’s ice cream. Or a whole bunch of them. ---

Gee Vanilla, I got a real problem: Don’t like chocolate (I know that makes me damn near inhuman in some people’s eyes, sorry) and especially don’t care for Chocolate cake - my poor grandma every year baked a chocolate cake for me for my birthday, from scratch. The NHL wanted her recipe. Don’t really care for cake, in general, rather have pie. Ice cream? well, if I have a sore throat yea. Otherwise - I worked at an ice cream parlor when I was a teen. Turned me off of the stuff for ever after. Frankly I rarely go for dessert in the first place. But, since it’s my birthday (and it is this weekend), if it’s all the same to you, I’d rather have: Red Raspberry Pie Creme Broulete (sp?) Key Lime Pie ok by you? ---

I’ll second german chocolate cake- I’ve had one for every birthday since I was 4 or 5. Ice cream- anything with coconut or mint, but not together! Actually it might be good but I’ve never had it so I’ll have to make some and see. ---

I’m sorry I find the whole idea of cake and icing repugnant. I’'ve had a longtime dislike of soggy bread products ::shudder:: However, if I’m allowd to put it in a seperate bowl. I will eat Devil’s food Cake with Chocolate icing along with a bowl of Chocolate Mint Ice cream on the side. Keith ---

I like ice cream cake, especially those lttle chocolate crunchie things between the layers of ice cream. A two in one… mmmmm… If I HAVE to have them separate, then I guess I’ll take chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and cookies and cream ice cream with chocolate sprinkles on top. ---

Me dig crunchies. Crunchies good. I always insist on ice cream cakes for my birthday. If we must seperate, I will eat anything if it’s chocolate. I like a nice chocolate ice cream with dark chocolate chips in it. For cake I’m partial to a chocolate sheet cake, then you spread freshly whipped cream, then roll it up like a giant Yodel.
