# Cal Dopers, Lets have a Whitewater Summer

I live in N. California and I love to Kayak. Unfortunately it is not a solo sport. (Mrs. askeptic will not get near the river)Besides being dangerous to Kayak alone there are issues of logistics ie getting from a take out back to your car at the put in.

My question is this: Are any Dopers into white water and if so is there a way to get together for some serious river running? I live about 15 minutes from one of the best Kayaking rivers in California and am willing to host a …Water Dope(?)
