Okay, so the Easter Holiday is coming up. Instead of celebrating by painting eggs and spending the day with as much in-laws as you can stand, why not just lock yourself away and watch **The Passion of the Christ** this Easter Sunday?

And **Saving Private Ryan** come May 29th.

What are some other movies we can designate days for? let’s get creative…

The slasher films (ala Leprechaun for 3/17) could fill an entire thread. But bearing in mind the OP says ‘let’s get creative…’

I forgot to mention, if you’re being particularly creative or obtuse… feel free to offer an explanation 😉

Such as: January 12th is the day HAL 9000 became operational. But I don’t need to tell you geeks that.

I have no doubt the task could be easily done.

But, what may be confusing is the fact your OP implies a film should tie back to a holiday (i.e. Solyent Green on Meat Out Day) and a couple of your selections (i.e. Back to the Future & Space Odyssey) don’t have any relationship to a holiday on their given day.

Good point. The holiday association was a mere short-sightedness on my part… now I can look upon this thread and see it’s true potential. Let’s make all the days a Movie Holiday. Besides, we can still have it both ways: **1492: Conquest of Paradise** on Oct 9th. And We’ll get the obvious out of the way… **Halloween** on Oct 31st.
