Can I connect the calendar on a palm pilot (handheld computer) to my main computer? Can I have the calendar system send an e-mail reminder of importnat dates to both my palm pilot and my main e-mail account? Does this require special programs or a special type of palm piot or computer?

Yes. Yes you can. Your Outlook calendar will do all the reminding for you.

It all depends on what sort of Palm Pilot you have, Mac, PC?

Gimme details, 'cause I went through the same sort of questions about 6 months ago. All I had to do was install Microsoft ActiveSync, plug in my Palm Pilot, and life was golden.

If you want, you can even e-mail me with questions.

I don’t have a palm pilot yet. I was thinking of asking for one for Christmas, but I didn’t see the point if I couldn’t connect it to my computer calendar.

I bought one a few months ago, and mine was PC based.

Basically, all you do is plug it into a USB port, and it’ll ask you for the MS ActiveSync drivers. Pop in a CD-ROM, and click on what you want it to synchronize: Calendar, E-mail inbox, tasks, etc.

But to answer your question, yes it will sync up with your calendar.

Tripler
You can always download MS ActiveSync too. . .
