Hey guys, it’s time for some yuletide Dopefestivities. We’re planning a dinner on Saturday, Dec. 29 at a local Chinese food place. All Calgary Dopers are welcome to come out and socialize with a really fun, interesting group of people (I won’t say cool, because we all know better than that). Dinner is planned for 6:30 pm at The Pavilion restaurant in Hawkwood. If you’re interested, my email address is in my profile (we need to book a reservation). ---

It looks like I’ll be up in Edmonton for then, not sure exactly what day I’ll be back so I’ll have to miss this one. Have fun though. 🙂 And a Merry Christmas to you all! ---
Ooh! ooh! Us too! Us too! -trupa, being not cool at all…
I was going to say a general welcome for all Calgary Dopers, to come hang out with a bunch of [del]weirdos[/del] fun guys. How can they not have ginger beef in the U.S., **Ginger**? Are you trying to convert everyone, like getting them all to drink that fine Canadian invention, the Bloody Caesar? ---

Where is Hawkwood? I also definitely work Saturday at 10 pm, but I can show up for the first few hours. ---
Funnily enough, there IS one person we’ve found who makes it. She’s from Edmonton and she and her husband own a Chinese restaurant in Annapolis, which is the capitol of Maryland. I haven’t been there yet; Dave sells health insurance (how un-Canadian!) and they’re clients of his. ---
