# Call of Duty: World at War 50% off on steam, 1 day sale

COD:WAW is currently $25 on steam for at least a few more hours. It says “available until Thursday, August 13” so I don’t know if that means it ends on Midnight tonight, or is available all through tomorrow.

I’ve never seen a COD game on sale (cod4 is still $40) so this is a fairly rare opportunity.

I don’t know if I want to get it - the Treyarch COD games are supposed to be substantially inferior - is it worth getting?

Edit: I see it has multiple map packs as DLC. These are free to PC players, right?

I got this game free with my video card. I feel I got what I paid for with this one. Do yourself the favor and just buy CoD4.

Looks like the sale does extend through today.  
I have a friend that works at activision who can get games for $5, but never bothers to actually do so. So I sent him a text before I ordered it off steam and he finally said he’d get around to it. So I’m getting like 5 activision games. Whee!
