Welcome, **Oreo** and **belladonna**! This will probably be the last post y’all will see from me before I get back from the long weekend with the groups and words ready, so I’ll say it now: if anyone else still wants to join up, you have until the 22nd. Signups are cut off at midnight on the 22nd, groups will be formed from what I have then, unless I don’t have a multiple of four. Then I’ll panic. 😃 If someone crashes a story thread, we’re just gonna have to ignore it. Any and all commentary on the stories in progress should be posted to this thread; the story threads should have ONLY story posts in them. Anyone in violation of this rule will find themselves at the mercy of **Ferrous** ’s Pit tag team. 😃 I’ll post all the rules when I announce the group members and the words to be used in the first posts. **Yondan** , you’re getting me… um… hot. Iiiiiii’m back! And very saddened to see that the two more people I wanted didn’t sign on while I was gone. Would some be willing to be a “pinch hitter” for all of the other story groups? If someone can’t get their post up within three days, for whatever reason, you’d step in to write their post for them (rather than having it pass to the next person in line). That way I can have four groups of four and one “pinch hitter,” and I can go ahead and post groups and words. Please reply ASAP as I know that everyone’s waiting with bated breath for this party to get started. 😃 ---

So **Yondan, Crunchy Frog, Oreo,** and **belladonna** are starting, **Jane D’oh, bobkitty, Zappo,** and **HerMajestyLorna** have the next posts, and so on. Please start a NEW THREAD when you begin your story, folks! Title the thread after the title of your story and identify what group it’s for, too, so the other folks in your group can find your thread. [example] (thread subject) **My Summer Vacation (Group A)** [/example] All comments on the stories and communication between authors should be restricted to this thread (or e-mail, if you so desire). Story threads should have story posts ONLY. Each person has three days to post their contribution to the story, which means the opening salvos should be fired by Saturday night. If for whatever reason you find yourself unable to post your contribution, post here to let the other people in your group know so that the next person in line can prepare to jump in. If there are no questions, I will give you your three words… [drumroll] **butter cerulean gasket** [/drumroll] Remember, all three of these words MUST make an appearance in the first post of every thread. **Yondan, Crunchy, Oreo, belladonna,** those are your words.
