# "Calling all cars...  Please interfere with Shiva's cable TV reception."

So I’m trying to watch the Penguins/Sabres game on ESPN, but every time a local cop or his dispatcher makes a radio call the reception goes to hell.

Channels 16-19 are all affected, with 19 being the worst-- I can actually _hear_ what they’re saying when I’m on 19, and the picture is almost obliterated. The other channels just get black and white diagonal lines on top of the picture.

I assume this is because the cops are using either the same or a nearby frequency. Is there some sort of RF filter or choke I can install to minimize this?

Let the cable company know. They will fix it or see that the cop shop fixes it.

Ah, I should have mentioned that I’m trying to avoid involving the cable company in this, if you get my drift. 😉
