I have just registered for the Tanqueray Heartland AIDSride. Apparently I’m insane. You ride 500 miles over 6 days from Minnesota to Chicago. So now I’m thinking, perhaps some of the other dopers in the area might want to get in on this. We could have a SDMB team. Maybe have a big picture of Uncle Cecil on our team shirts. What do you guys think? Huh? Huh? Huh? ps: i just realized that I am probably posting this on the wrong board and will probably be beaten about the head and neck. ---

500 miles on a motorcycle? No bike, but it sounds like fun. You meant a BICYCLE?!?!? No way! OTOH, I wonder how much you could do just on trails and rails-to-trails… ---
