‘Crossing Over’ WTC Segments Scrapped Fri, Oct 26, 2001 10:41 AM PDT

LOS ANGELES ([Zap2it.com](http://Zap2it.com)) - The producers of “Crossing Over with John Edward” have decided against airing episodes in which Edward tries to communicate with victims of the World Trade Center attacks.

Edward, who says he can speak with the dead, had taped several readings with families of Sept. 11 victims who asked for his help, Studios USA spokesman Jim Benson tells Reuters.

“None of those episodes will be aired,” he says. “We had considered it, but it’s too good of a show to take a chance in offending any audience, and we decided against it.”
