Running CallControl app on my phone now. Working pretty well.
Also funnelling all unknown numbers to “Unknown” contact (even gave them their own profile picture). If they don’t leave a VM, they get added to the app’s blocked list.
How does calling from some woman’s phone get them around the registry?
Sometimes we get spoofed calls that show as calling from our own number. Modern horror: The scammer calls are coming from inside the house!
Can’t wait until the youngest kid gets a cell phone and we shut down the house line. We won’t miss the spammers, scammers, political robots, charity people, robo-testers, and endless debt collectors still looking for this guy Miguel who had our number five years ago.
