And then there is the word “airborne” (often used by the military) that is mispelled more often than it is correctly spelled. A fellow Vancouver Islander even wrote a book he entitled “Airborn” and received the American Library Association’s Printz Honor! And now they are making a movie with the same fucked up title! ---

A student yesterday formally protested his professor denying him an A on a paper that used the phrase “in sink” repeatedly. (And that was the least of his problems, but I couldn’t take the protest seriously on that basis alone. So I threw his protest “in toilet”.) ---
