Angua is right. The trick with formal halls is a boat race, a round of “It’s Not Swedish” and the penny game. The trick with _dining society dinners in the Junior Parlour_ is to have a different seating plan for dessert. ---

I just generally found that the trick to formal hall was a bottle of cheap Bulgarian red wine. But maybe that’s just me. pan ---
