I am sometimes involved in conversations about dog shows and have been know to refer to them as ‘dog beauty contests’. What race or races are being demeaned? I don’t think I was being insensitive to dogs, pigs, or camels. 🙂 ---

If you haven’t encountered it before the notion that people could be cheating on an animal show is initially surprising. But I’ve never heard of a case of BOTOX injections being an issue at the Westminster Dog Show. Or at any livestock competition sat a county or state fair (and I’ve attended a lot of those). ---
