Does anyone know how to do either of the following with this camera (yes, I have the manual, but can’t quite manage the following):

-save a specific setting? would like to set it to about f/2.8, ISO 400, w/ a high shutter speed (1/125 or faster). When I program a custom setting, it doesn’t retain it after I turn the camera off.

-or know which auto setting might approximate the above? On the DMC-FZ1, the indoor sports setting was working well…not so much on the FZ18

I am shooting gymnastics, so I need to capture rapid motion under somewhat poor lighting conditions.
