Camp Nanowrimo is coming

Hmm. I thought medical blood was an easier solution than that (watching too movies, I guess). It’ll be something from what you’ve suggested (I haven’t thought it through much yet - got too many other stories in the pipeline at the moment).

At very least, medical blood is something like eating an overdone steak, rather than good one. It sucks, it’s no fun, and it’s more trouble than you really want to put into it.

happy dance

Hit 50,000 words this morning! (Well, really 60, but the first 10 don’t count for NaNo).

Nowhere near done, but that’s okay. I expected that. And things are humming along now.

Good for you Infovore. I’ve basically given up on the idea of ‘winning’ but I’m still going to try to write as much as I can.

Congrats Infovore!

I started story #7 yesterday afternoon, so I’m doing okay on pace. Of course, this week I’ll have to juggle writing, preparing critiques for my sci-fi workshop, and packing, so that’ll be interesting.

Like a zombie, Camp Nanowrimo is returning! Who’s up for the April session this year?

I think I’m going to wait for the next one this year–my novel (#3 in the series–#2 was the one I finished last year) is limping along one disassociated scene at a time, but the spark of life hasn’t hit it yet so I’m sure I won’t be able to do 50,000 words in a month right now.

Good luck to all who participate!

I am. I love the new customizable wordgoal feature. I was going to try to do a lot of writing next month anyway and then I found out it was camp nano time.

Cool, Infovore. Set a reminder for July 2013 for the final Camp this year.

I’m hoping I’ll have a good reason not to do camp in the summer; I’ve got applications out to Clarion at UCSD, Clarion West, and the Odyssey SFF workshop, and I’m waiting to hear back on them now.
