# Campaign soliciting foreign contributions -- What's the penalty?

“They forgot to remove the foreigners” might have made sense if we were talking about things like that email a company VP sent to everybody at Home Office, which had us foreigners asking “is this legal here?.. It IS? You’re serious?”

But what purpose would a mailing list including for example every single Scottish MP serve, for Trump? Does he mailbomb the legislators of any location where the Trump brand does business?

Kinda like removing the controls from credit card processing so as to receive foreign donations but not know it?
