Campbell condensed Cheddar soup is a useful base to make a cheese sauce. I see a can used in many homestyle recipes. I make [broccoli cheddar chicken](https://spicysouthernkitchen.com/broccoli-cheddar-chicken-cracker-barrel-copycat/) and it uses that soup. I wouldn’t eat Cream of Mushroom or Cheddar by itself as a soup. Campbell’s condensed soup is unique. The other brands aren’t typically used as a recipe base sauce. ---

Ooooo….Puree Mongole! One can of Campbell’s split pea soup (the green one) and one can of Campbell’s tomato soup. Mix with milk or water, a bit of curry powder and/or sherry, and it is much better than the sum of its parts. ---
