Huh. I’m seems as if I was wrong about the organization of the event and will eat my crow. However, it doesn’t change what Trump said or the meaning of it. He very likely misspoke and was talking about the confederate monument supporters, or he is Adolf Hitler, Jr. (Remember, there were several demonstrations in Charlottesville that summer not attended or supported by these hate groups).
Maybe we should ask him to clarify? Oh, we did, and he’s said a hillion jillion times that he does not support Nazis or white supremacists. Maybe he was confused about the organization of the event just like I was because of similar recent protests/events in the same city. But let’s not let that get in the way of a good Trump bashing.
