Can Anyone Explain Dan Uggla's Walks?

As RickJay mentioned, his offensive WAR is currently 0.8. And don’t forget, WAR is cummulative, so if a “full-time league average player” is worth 2 WAR, they’re only worth 2 WAR at the end of the season. 0.8 at this point in the season seems to be right in line with that, no?

I was going by ESPN MLB Batting Stats which says his WAR is -0.3. I assumed that meant only offensive WAR, which appears to be wrong. If it’s +0.8 then that’s an answer to my question.

I assure you it does not, because no pitchers are up there with Dan Uggla’s WAR in mind.
