I would assume chronic refers to frequency, while acute is just the severity. In other words, he’s yurking it so hard, he’s getting rug burn! 😉 ---

Everyone who transitions experiences different emotions related to the various stages of transitioning. All of that aside, OP, it sounds like you are just a fuck buddy. It sucks that the feelings aren’t the same, but it sounds like your friend has been honest with you. You’re probably better off moving on. ---
