I used to frequent [3dfiles.com](http://3dfiles.com) for rapid replies to all of my questions about computer problems, but they seem to have removed their bulletin board.

Do any of the “teeming millions” here know of a replacement forum for good, fast, and free tech help?

[http://www.annoyances.org/](http://www.annoyances.org/) Has lotsa good info on fixing Windows platforms. There are a few good forums to spout your problems & tons of archived info.

This is more of an IMHO than a GQ, so I’ll move it.

That’s just too long. To prevent wasting of bandwidth, we limit sigs to about four lines of text. Please shorten yours.

Try [here](http://www.duxcw.com/dcforum/index.html)

Pretty good turnaround time for answers.
The guy who runs the board is Larry Byard. A bit of a curmudgen - doesn’t like weird screen names, won’t tolerate cussing, etc., but he knows his stuff.
