# Can anyone remember this short PBS Masterpiece Theater program?

It was probably in the 70’s, on Sunday night, not a long series. Set in England in the 20’s or 30’s, a wealthy widow of a certain age was being wooed by a young traveling scam artist who swept her off her feet and proposed a hasty marriage (of course it was a ploy to steal her money). She fell for it, and I think it ended before the ill-fated marriage. … It was called ‘The \_\_\_\_\_\_’ … the Traveler? … I can’t seem to find any reference to it.
