Can Anyone Tell Me Who This Bellydancer Is?

brujaja, I agree your dancer is of recent vintage (based on the dance itself and filming) but what makes you think the costume would be “shocking”?

I’ve seen bellydance images more than 100 years old that are more revealing.

Meh, Tarik Sultan is better IMHO

He said he did.

Great googily-moogily.

I don’t know who she is, but if you want to see something really impressive, check out Sadie. I swear to Og, that woman can unhinge her spine like a snake does its jaw.

Though when I did a Google search for that video, one of the other results showed a woman who looks a bit like the one in the OP.

Not to engage in the dubious practice of resurrecting zombies, but I found the second video back up, and it’s worth checking out whether you can help me identify her or not:

Just barely safe for work.

In this vid, incidentally spark240, you may be able to see why I said, “shocking.” (in the context of a decade or so ago.) As much as belly dancers reveal and suggest, I have never seen one wearing something so diaphenous that you can see — errr — shadows. Heh.

So, anyone know who she is?
P.S. CrazyCatLady: Yes, Sadie is truly awe-inspiring. Easily the most technically accomplished belly dancer I have ever seen.

No idea, but I’m planning on ripping off some rhythm patterns from those drummers.

Well I found another video of her from someone, that may know who she is:

I also find these by clicking through on links that seem like they could be her:

Shorter hair, but sometimes people cut their hair shorter, so I dunno.

Wow, Sage Rat, that was nice of you to go to the trouble. The first of your additional two really does look like her, especially since she does do that fetching thing with the cane.

I’ll write the guy who posted the vid in your first link; although I suspect he made that out of the full-length one. (i.e., downloaded, cut & pasted it.)

Thanks!
