People have this image of a woman screaming and fighting while men are holding her down and all are witnessing. If any of this is true, the women were inebriated and/or drugged. They were most likely passive. That passivity could look like acquiescence to teenagers/young adults. The victim who would know they had NO agency and the guys spiking their drinks would have a pretty good clue, too. However, the next day, the woman would feel nothing but shame and guilt. Under those circumstances and at that time? Yeah, way easy to see it happening and happening repeatedly, especially since the first few time followed a pattern of the victim keeping her mouth shut. ---

Agreed, when we’re talking about the victims. But there were other people at the parties, too. Other girls even, not just a bunch of would-be frat boy high schoolers. They all stood by, including the girls, watching this happen for years without news getting out? I understand peer pressure, but that seems to go well beyond normal. This is exactly why I want the FBI to investigate this stuff. I don’t think these women are just making shit up, but some of it just seems hard to believe. A thorough investigation isn’t going to give a firm answer, but it should paint a fuller picture of what the facts are. ---

Since this required just as many people to keep their mouths shut. Is it possible Kavanaugh is a rapist? Absolutely. A repeat offender? Sure. Is it possible that he ran a rape club over more than 10 parties with a cumulative attendance of dozens to hundreds, most of the people older then him and not under his power and this remained quiet and unknown to everyone for decades, including to FBI investigators looking for dirt? ---

These are serious allegations being made against multiple people, but the accusers are, for some reason, not reporting them in such a way as to have them properly investigated. If there’s another background check, the FBI will decide who they need to talk to, and those people will be required to talk to them. Quite why the FBI would be performing a background check on Judge - the target of the latest unsupported allegations - I’m not sure, though. Perhaps if Kavanaugh isn’t confirmed he’ll be the next nomination? Judge Judge sounds great! The obvious reason none of these “crimes” have been reported to the police is that they didn’t fucking happen. It’s not like, with all the publicity they’ve recieved, there’s any risk of being mistreated as may well have happened decades ago, and it’s not like they won’t be fully investigated by the press anyway. ---

That said, Kavanaugh seems to have been lying, or at least misleading people, about his drinking. So, I guess he’s not 100% honest. That’s at least a potentially reasonable thing to disqualify him as a supreme court judge, unlike unsupported - indeed, repeatedly contradicted - allegations. ---

And strangely enough, I had friends a year or two older than me than me and others a year or two younger. A three or four year spread between the oldest and youngest people at a party doesn’t seem strange to me at all.Most of the parties I went to the last 2 years of high school and the first 2 years of college had the same people. ---

The accuser said she didn’t (she told multiple people after the alleged rape), and Judge’s ex was told about it. Some of y’all have a very self-centered way of interpreting information. Also Sarah Sanders said the process every time is when someone is nominated they get voted on. Unless of course the president is a Dem (I guess) ---
