I think the character issues are so strong with k it almost rises to the same level as the claimed offense. His contempt for the senators was as thick as pea soup. He is a horrifying human being. If he doesn’t get slapped for that we have a serious tear in the fabric of our country. ---

I’m not sure if this is old news or new news: [Jeff Flake: “I will vote to confirm Judge Kavanaugh”](https://www.flake.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/press-releases?ID=D00A6D7D-91F1-483C-90A4-7E75B604B3DF) Does anyone know if this came out before or after he asked for another delay for an FBI investigation? ---

The whole basis for the kavanaugh proponents arguments to ignore compelling testimony, and other claims, in order to seat him as quickly as possible is this in total: ISTM. No investigation, and in fact, a requirement for “no investigation” is pretty much ISTM. ISTM is like the whole right wing of the internet in fact. ISTM ISTM. I’m not getting the pleasure out of it but everyones different. ---

You said Flake “is not going to do it unless the FBI talks to Mark Judge.” It appears that he never did say that was the case though, right? He asked for a delay of up to a week so that the FBI could do their due diligence, but said nothing about opposing the nomination if they can’t / don’t talk to Mark Judge. I don’t know if you just really suck at being accurate or if you like making wild unfounded claims, but either one is not a good look. ---

I still can’t quite believe yesterday. I still can’t believe the nominee for a seat on the Supreme Court lost his shit on national TV, lied his ass off, yelled and ranted, and proposed bizarre conspiracies against him. Did that really happen, or did somebody slip me something? ---
