One of his pals said in this thread that people need to be put in camps by the military, and he thinks its us. LOL.
I don’t think all Republicans should be imprisoned - just the ones currently committing crimes against humanity. Stripping them of their citizenship should be effective for most of them.
Yeah, being compared to a genocidal regime is nice isn’t it?
Maybe cut it out with the white supremacy and totalitarianism then.
I think K blew it up and the Rs went on a rampage. I think they know they lost a couple votes, and they couldn’t get out of the hate mindset for one minute, and all had to have revenge speeches especially the one who is nominated, a disgrace. I predict it’s thumbs down.
I don’t know, hadn’t decided yet. In 2006, the US population was 298.4 million (according to Google) and the D’s got 42,338,795. Today the population is estimated to be 328.7 million. If I’m doing maths right, that’s just over 10% growth. Let’s round it off at 10%. 42,338,795 + 10% = 46,572,674. How about, if the D’s get more than 47 million votes, I’ll donate $10 to a tax-deductible charity of your choice, in whatever (reasonable - I’m not wearing a chicken costume and flying to Puerto Rico or anything crazy like that) manner you choose, and an additional $10 for every million votes above that (48M = $20, 49M = $30, 50M=$40, etc). Conversely, if the D’s don’t get more than 46 million votes, you donate $10 to a charity of my choosing, in a (reasonable) way I choose. For every million votes below that, you donate an additional $10. Agreed?
The fact the ONLY way you could respond to what I was saying is to reduce it to a wager on the vote in the midterms illustrates the point I was making - the GOP demonstrated today that they have absolutely no clue how thoroughly done most women are with the bullshit and games. Clearly, none of them realize how many women they care about have likely been subjected to sexual harassment, leers, unwelcome sexual comments and even some form of groping or assault.
It is far, far more common than they realize. And it will bite them in the ass. Soon.
Now I understand why you didn’t make a peep of protest about the “camps” post.
By soon, do you mean sometime other than the 2018 midterms then?
Wow, I had not heard of that meeting. I had thought that all the Dems would feel safe voting against him after today’s performance, and that it would be down to Collins and Murkowski. So the fact that Flake was even in that meeting is somewhat encouraging.
Your ilk seem perfectly OK with putting certain types of people in camps, don’t you now?
Letitbenotedfortherecordthatcomradeasahigetsalittlecarriedawaysometimesandreeducationcampsarebadmmkay?
Again, point spectacularly missed.
Uh. Also, let it be noted that Republicans, at least the vast majority of them, are not, in fact, Nazis. They are arguably fascists, but these terms are not interchangable.
…no wider than the post I was responding too.
Their ostensible leader is a white supremacist revanchist who wants to be president for life and describes Nazis as “very fine people”. He’s a Nazi and they’re Nazis too if they support him.
Well, Thing Fish, I give you credit for trying.
Trump and his supporters are vile. They have not, as of yet, organized death camps or started a world war. If and when they do, we can probably afford to assign them their own distinct name to be used for historical reference. Until then, can we just call them fascist scum and leave it at that?
I would like to think that all eight justices (well, maybe seven) were horrified at Kavanaugh’s performance today. I can’t imagine they will be particularly thrilled having to work with him.
