Smyth and Judge didn’t say “it didn’t happen”, only that they did not remember any such incident. But you can offer any booms that you like.

She said she wanted to testify and now she can testify. There are airplanes that can get her to Washington tonight from California. She has, not counting today, FOUR FULL days to prepare for Monday’s hearing.
Plus, she will be under protection in Washington and not have to worry about the death threats. I’m not seeing the issue. Be here Monday.
And she might testify, it’s only Wednesday and this hearing was just announced on Monday. Can’t the media just calm the shit down for a couple of days?

Dare I say, it might take a few days to arrange protection, which would include on the plane and at her place of lodging. But less than 24 hours after getting an email about this thing opportunists were questioning her credibility. What a bizarre angle.
I think she will testify. I think the comments by Flake, Collins, and Murkowski lead to the conclusion that, at least to them, Monday is her chance and if she doesn’t show, then this part is over.
So, at the latest tomorrow, I expect her to announce that she will testify and the left will shower her with praise for her “courage” to come forward despite the meany pants Republicans making her cram for her testimony.
It’s on for Monday. I might cancel my appointments and start drinking at 8am.

See, this is the thing about DEMANDING public testimony about a sexual assault. DEMANDING is form of assault itself. It doubles the offense to the victim.
And another thing that hasn’t even been mentioned - why is it we are A-OK with someone who is an admitted black-out drunk (supposedly only in his youth?) being on the SCOTUS? Have we so normalized THAT behavior that it goes completely un-commented on? I suppose we have.

You may be confusing Judge with Kavanaugh (no pun there), but yeah it’s pretty normal.
Let’s say hypothetically, that in the early 80’s she did report the incident. It was shuttled to juvenile court. Kavanaugh got a suspended juvenile sentence, and this whole case was sealed.
Would we be hearing about it now? Do FBI background checks include reviewing sealed juvenile court records. Do Senate hearings include review of sealed juvenile records? Seriously don’t know and wonder what the answer is.

Or else her allegation is dropped. She doesn’t get to make an accusation and then run and hide. DEMANDING is not a form of assault. Courts subpoena sexual assault alleged victims all of the time.
Also have the details of the incident been stated by Ford, such as to what happened as to why Kavanaugh stopped the attack? Did she say no and he stopped, or was he semi-conscious during his attack? I’ve seen her comment that if he wasn’t so drunk, she feels that he would have raped her, but are there more details of what explicitly caused him to stop?
