Most of the posts above yours would seem to contradict that assertion. Some dogs do watch television, and can discriminate animals from humans. Visually, not aurally.
Mine don’t watch it. Once in a while if my
Greyhound hears a baby cry (on TV) or a dog bark, his ears will perk up and he’ll walk over to the speaker of the surround sound trying to figure it out, but I’ve never seen either one of them watch the tube.
My dog watches TV now and then. I fear she is an advertisers nightmare though, as she never demands that I purchase the things advertised.
