# Can everyone pick their own nose?

Married people can always pick their noses because their finger will fit in their wedding ring and their wedding ring will fit up their nose. Why this is so still eludes me but their was [some ‘peer reviewed’ work on this subject.](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/i-stuck-my-wedding-ring-up-my-nose/199505)
