I’ve been to dozens of baby showers and I can’t imagine other moms not bringing their newborns/babes. Only exception is older toddlers or children coming to a shower in someone’s home that might not be child-friendly or at a restaurant where the host is paying per head. I can’t imagine a newborn “stealing someone’s thunder”. It would be the equivalent of another married woman stealing a bride’s thunder at a bridal shower. ---
